Product sourcing or product sorcery!?!

Hey, what's up, y'all! It's your girl Neighborhood Mama, and today I'm gonna talk to you about one of the most important things you need to know when starting your own business: product sourcing. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Product sourcing? That sounds boring AF." But trust me, it's actually super important, and can be pretty damn fun too.

So, first things first: what the hell is product sourcing anyway? Basically, it's the process of finding and purchasing products that you can sell for a profit. And if you're starting an online business like I did, that means finding products that you can sell on platforms like Amazon, eBay, or Etsy.

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, but where do I even start? How do I find products to sell?" Well, there are a few different methods you can use. The first one is called retail arbitrage, which basically means buying products from retail stores like Walmart or Target and then reselling them for a higher price online. It sounds pretty simple, right? And it can be, but it's also important to keep in mind that you need to do your research and make sure you're buying products that will actually sell for a profit.

Another method of product sourcing is called wholesale. This is when you buy products in bulk from a manufacturer or distributor, and then sell them individually at a higher price. This can be a great option if you want to sell a specific product or brand, or if you want to have a larger inventory of products to sell.

And then there's my personal favorite: online arbitrage. This is when you find products on online marketplaces like Amazon or eBay, and then buy them at a lower price to resell for a profit. It's kind of like retail arbitrage, but you're doing it all online. Plus, there are tons of tools and software out there that can help you find products that are selling well and have a good profit margin.

But before you start buying up all the products you can find, it's important to do your research and make sure you're not going to end up losing money. Look for products with a high demand and low competition, and make sure the profit margins are worth it. And don't forget to factor in things like shipping costs, taxes, and fees from the platform you're selling on.

Now, I know all this might seem a little overwhelming, especially if you're new to the game. But trust me, once you get the hang of product sourcing, it can be pretty damn fun. It's like a treasure hunt, except the treasure is money (which is even better, if you ask me).

And if you're really serious about starting your own online business, I've got a little something for you. It's called "The Ultimate Amazon FBA Guide: Start and Grow Your Business," and it's basically everything you need to know to get started with selling on Amazon FBA. I go into way more detail on product sourcing, plus I cover things like product research, branding, and marketing.

So, to sum it all up: product sourcing is super important if you want to start your own online business and make some serious money. There are different methods you can use, like retail arbitrage, wholesale, and online arbitrage, and it's important to do your research and make sure you're buying products that will actually sell for a profit. And if you really want to get serious about it, check out my ebook "The Ultimate Amazon FBA Guide."

Alright, that's all for now.

As always, stay hustling, my friends.
